What CyberTome does

CyberTome is a Fire TV application. After you install it from the Amazon Appstore, it rotates through three screens on the television:

The app is offered as a monthly Amazon Appstore subscription, with a free trial. You cancel that subscription in your Amazon account.

Why CyberTome requests Google user data

CyberTome requests read-only access to Google Calendar, the scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.readonly. It uses that access for one purpose: to list your calendars and read event titles, start times, end times, and calendar names so it can show them on the Fire TV.

CyberTome does not create, change, or delete calendar events. It does not use your Google data for advertising. Calendar data and Google sign-in tokens stay on the Fire TV. CyberTome has no server and does not upload your calendar to CyberTome.

You start sign-in on the TV. Google shows a device code, which you approve in a browser. You can sign out in CyberTome’s settings, uninstall the app, or revoke CyberTome on your Google Account.
