CyberTome Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 27, 2026
CyberTome is a Fire TV app. It has no CyberTome server. Data stays on the device except where a feature you use must call another company’s API.
What the app stores on the Fire TV
- Google access and refresh tokens (encrypted) after you sign in with Google
- Calendar titles, times, and calendar names fetched so they can be shown on screen
- Display settings, including a U.S. ZIP code if you set one for weather
- Amazon In-App Purchasing receipts used to check trial or subscription status
What leaves the device
- Google. Device sign-in and read-only Calendar API. Tokens are sent to Google to load your calendars. We do not get a CyberTome account, and we do not upload your calendar to our own systems.
- Weather. If you enter a ZIP code, that ZIP is sent to public geocoding services (U.S. Census and Zippopotam) and then coordinates are sent to the National Weather Service. No GPS is used.
- Amazon. Subscription purchase and restore go through Amazon Appstore billing. We never see your payment card.
Network requests also expose a device IP address to those services, as with any HTTPS app.
What we do not do
No ads, no analytics SDK, no crash reporter, no mailing list, and no sale of personal data.
Your choices
- Sign out in CyberTome Settings to remove Google tokens from the device.
- Uninstall CyberTome to remove remaining local data.
- Revoke CyberTome under Google Account third-party access.
- Cancel the subscription in your Amazon account.
See Account and data deletion for the same steps in one place.
